Individual Therapy

My individual therapy services are tailored to help you better understand yourself and develop skills for improved mood, relationships, and overall functioning. I work with adults, teens, and children, drawing from evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and emotion-focused therapy. To enhance the therapeutic experience, I often incorporate creativity, humor, and your personal interests, making our sessions both effective and engaging.

I begin by assessing each client's readiness for therapy. For younger clients, I often involve parents in the therapeutic process to ensure a holistic approach. For children under 13, I may recommend parent consultation instead, as this age group often benefits more from changes to the broader family system than individual therapy alone. My goal is to provide the most effective support for each individual, whether through direct therapy or by guiding parents to create a more nurturing environment.
